History
The
Tide Jewels
Many yuris ago, Empress Jingo of Ilbon Island,
mother of Princess ReShor, planned an invasion of Koguryo. For
that she would attack the seacoast of the kingdom with a great
strike, using the aid of the legendary Tide Jewels that Hoori
descendants talked so much about.
The Empress called for Sea Nymph's aid to get hold of the Tide
Jewels, but the nymph refused to get involved on it. Jingo had
no other choice than summon Bluestone, the most feared Pirate
of Ilbon Island. He was called to help on her plan to get the
Tide Jewels.
The empress prayed for the Spirit of the Seashore, Isora.
Worried with the call of the empress, the Beach-god appeared
in the shores of Ilbon, where she was assaulted by the Pirates
of Bluestone. They've kidnapped her and would only release her
in exchange for the jewels.
The Sea Nymph took the terrible news to Dragon King, which had
no choice but give one of the Tide Jewels to the Empress. Hearing
the plans of the evil Empress, Toyo-tama, the Princess of the Sea,
who had spent her whole time after Hoori's departure on crafting
Sea rings, replaced the Tide Jewel with an ordinary one without
anyone's notice.
The jewel was taken to Jingo, who asked Bluestone to release the
beach-god and let her return to the underwater palace. The Sea
Nymph warned them about the usage of the jewel, that they should
be cautious about it, as it contained much power in there.
The Empress quickly asked Bluestone's Pirates to set sail towards
Koguryo. A smaller ship reached the Dae shore warning of the danger
that approached the lands of Kugnae. When, the ships of Bluestone
reached the shore, he tried using the power of the Jewel, but nothing
happened. Soon he realized the jewel was merely a fake one.
Bluestone returned to the Ilbon Island, but to not lose the trip, he
left a ship behind, with one of his strongest men leading it, Blackgut.
This strong man invaded the shore of Koguryo with many Pirates, but
after a long fight they were defeated.
The leader of the Pirates warned the Empress about what happened, which
in rage sworn to give much trouble to the dwellers of the under-water
world. It's said that they still are trying to get a hold of the jewel,
which confused the Sea King, who though he had lend the jewel to the
Empress. The location of the Tide Jewel is not know, it's said it might
have been taken to the shores, by a turtle messenger, under the form of
a Sea ring.
