The Sea
King
The Sea Dragon King, Ryu-jin, is
the epitome of power, courage, nobility and
divinity with an all-enduring trait that it would
overcome all obstacles till it achieves success.
He's known to have terrestrial and celestial
powers, but in fact he's the ruler of all water
bodies, especially the seas, as his grand palace
is at the bottom of the Ocean.
The Dragon King lives in a crystal palace under
the sea, guarded by fish, crabs, and crayfish.
Turtles serve as his messengers and merman as his
watchmen who police the sea bottom.
It's said that Ryu-jin is part human, part
Dragon, which explains why he can also morph into
men's form. His power is admired by many, as he
protects the whole ocean and all water forms, for
that the Dragon King is worshipped as the Keeper
of Life.
It's known that the origins of life were in the
water, and without it, there's no way for most if
not all life forms to survive. That is why the
importance of the Dragon King is so great, he
with his grand power is who is responsible for
keeping the harmony of life.
The power of the Dragon King is provided by the
moon and is so intense that it extends to lakes,
rivers, and shores. He's able to control the
tides and change the flowing of rivers and
waterfalls. He can also manipulate clouds and
rain.
